Iddo Aharony

The only sound source used for the creation of this piece is the rusty whirling of an old windmill at the Mmabolela Reserve in South Africa. The windmill was recorded on November 2019 by the composer while attending the field workshop “Sonic Mmabolela.” The piece was conceived, processed, and mixed while in the savanna.
